Level 2 teacher

Level 2 teacher

A Level 2 Teacher delivers swimming lessons to children and adults. The requirements for becoming a Level 2 teacher is that you must first train as a Level 1 Teacher, be self-employed, hold liability insurance and have an enhanced DBS (formally known as a CRB check). It is desirable to also have a National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC) qualification.

Once you have these pre-requisites, you would then complete the Swim England Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Aquatics course.
